"I did get my Emmys with Hoda, but when I finally left the show with Reg, that's when he got his," Kathie Lee said. "I was the problem with that."
Regis and Hoda helped usher their friend into the B&C Hall of Fame by co-hosting the event at New York City's Waldorf Astoria. Before hitting the stage, they had nothing but wonderful things to say about their cohort.
"She's one of those ladies you don't meet in this business," gushed Regis, who is also a B&C Hall of Famer. "She's smart. She's beautiful. She can handle anything that comes her way, and I just think she's terrific."
"I think that every now and then someone steps in your life and completely changes it," Hoda chimed in. "Every year, I tell Kath that she totally changed my life. I had a nice life. I thought it was nice. I didn't know how extraordinary it could be since I met Kath. She's the only person who could laugh like she laughs through tears like nobody's business. And by the way, it's not what she says, it's what she does. That's what you have to watch with Kath. It's what she does, and it's extraordinary."
